[Beast, for anyone who remembers her first broadcast some time ago, seems to have gotten the hang of the PokéGear, holding it so that it better shows her from the shoulder up, outside Eve's Garden Circus in Goldenrod.]

Any 'ow, I figured to thank the people who tried to talk t'me when I first arrived. Ye'll forgive I weren' exactly the 'appiest woman at the time, seein' as I think takin' that sort a arrival calmly might mean yer off in the 'ead.

Didn' get most a yer names, but I appreciate what ye done.

[A pause, she's not sure if Beast would believe her when she says she has a magic talking cat back at home and is totally used to this, she seems to be a skeptical sort of woman.]

I had a hard time adjusting to having them fight each other, personally, but when you get to be friends with Pokemon, it gets a lot easier to deal with how this world works. It takes time, but it happens eventually.

I don't know, Miss Beast, it seems to be the way of this world. Everybody, even the Pokemon, seem to have fun with it though, so there's no real harm in it. It's a good way to bond with your Pokemon and new people.

[Only a shonen protagonist would say that beating the crap out of each other is a good bonding exercise.]

You don't have to participate in battles, though. I'm sure you can train your Pokemon the same way that you trained your...um, beasts back at home.
