[Switching from text to video, she apparently doesn't know what the hell to do with the Pokegear either.]

Dagger? Wendy? Peter? Jumbo-

[The video is shaky, and only shows... a rather ponderous bosom.]

Doll? Snake?

- Joker?

[She waits, as if for a response. But the only sound is wind rustling through the trees and grass.

Another minute, before the video feed moves too fast for the feed to really pick up- grass, grass real close, black.]

... I'm goin' mad.

[Well, it certainly has been a day. What with the lions showing up and all, Jimmy found himself not too surprised to find that Joker had gotten a fair few for himself. Perhaps twenty seemed like it was a bit overkill, but the boy didn't really think much of it, especially after their incident with the bats previously.

From his hotel room across from Joker's in Azalea, he hears a video come across the network from where his Gear is lying on the bed. He looks up from where he'd been stroking the top of his Noibat's head, waiting for the little one to drift off to sleep, stretching a long arm out to pick up the device.

When he hears her mention Joker, he freezes for a moment before answering.]

Hello? ..Joker is here. I've been traveling with him...

[Another voice, video, what have you-

This technology was far beyond Beast's world, far beyond even the reaches of her imagination (though she wasn't that imaginative to begin with). She bit her lip, holding the device alternatively too close or too far, trying to get a good look at the boy on the screen.

Though his question didn't seem to sit well with her.]

[Jimmy's breath catches a little at Beast's tone, and it causes the bat hanging on to the front of his shirt to lift his head sleepily, letting out a soft squeak. He pets the top of his head again with his free hand before turning his attention back to the screen.]

Jimmy! My name is Jimmy, Jimmy Two-Shoes.

Innocuous name. But that didn't mean anything. Not when she's fresh from a betrayal that came in a cute, young little smiling package. He won't know it, but the venom in her voice isn't really aimed at Jimmy at all- once she understands the situation better she'll likely improve, but at the moment...]

An' what 're ye followin' Joker 'round for, then?

[Joker was too willing to give everyone a chance- and look what had happened to them (because of her).]

I work with him at the Circus!

[Jimmy says that as if it's a matter of fact, which- really- it kindof is by now. The Circus has been going for a bit, and he's very much found himself a part of it.]

[Jimmy's tone is decidedly less exuberant now, a bit more cautious as he watches Beast's expression. It's still optimistic for sure- perhaps unusually so, given the circumstances.]

Joker's Circus is called the Eve's Garden Circus. We hold shows every month in Goldenrod City. I'm kindof, ahh...one of the side acts! I help him out with other things, too. I'm like his assistant.

[While Beast is talking, Jimmy sees a text message pop up on his Gear. He he sighs with a soft smile, sitting up a bit.]

Well....you can ask Joker. If he tells you there's a Circus- or that there isn't one- then you'll know if I'm telling the truth or not.

You don't have to believe me.

[Even he can tell that this woman is on edge. She's confused and not willing to hear the verdict of a stranger...surely she'd listen to Joker before she'd listen to him.

Jimmy just wonders how she'll take to seeing him with her friend in person.]
